Nov 1 Carl (we're on a first name basis, tee hee) came to an Office Depot in Grapevine for an autograph session. I got there about 6:40am. They start giving out the wristbands at 7am when the store opens. There were only about 40 people in line. They have 200 wristbands total. So I got one.. Went back that night at 7pm to get an autograph and my photo taken with Carl. My digital camera was acting up. I was panicking. Thank goodness there was a Target next door. I bought different batteries, but I knew I had charged both sets of my rechargeable batteries. Still the LCD screen was blank. It would flash, so it probably would still work, but I wasn't taking any chances. I bought a disposable camera. The girl, I guess she worked for Office Depot, damn near got her finger in the way when she took our photo. Carl even mentioned it to her afterwards. If I was on my A-game I should have asked for another picture to have been taken. This was my first autograph session.They had one of his 99 car outside. Got some pictures of that, too.
