Some of you know this already, but I made a bead necklace and entered it in the 2008 State Fair of Texas under the Beadwork - Jewelry category of the Creative Arts Department. This was the same necklace that first caught Sophia's eye too when she visited in July. So I thought I was a shoo-in. Boo hoo, it didn't make the cut this year, but there's always next year and another piece of jewelry!
