I finally made it to the Tyler Rose Garden. It's about an hour and 45 minutes from where I live. Patti met me there Saturday. Neither one of us wanted to go next weekend when it's the Rose Festival, you know crowds and all.
The museum had some of the beautiful gowns in there and pictures of all the rose queens from when it started in 1934. There were 5 years 1942-1946 because of World War II they didn't have the festival so no queen either. Definetly do the museum if you go.
The roses were so pretty and so many. Here it was mid October and it was quite warm outside. We both said NO WAY would we come in the summer months.
Oh gas was cheaper in Tyler vs where I live. Low grade was $2.99.
Patti is my good friend that lost 25+ pounds on Weight Watchers' Points system. She looks FAB-U-LOUS!
