I heard this at a Tupperware party 20+ years ago....The Tupperware lady told us (maybe she did cosmetics on the side?), say for whatever reason, you only have one choice for makeup: mascara or lipstick. If you have dark colored eyelashes then go with lipstick. If you have light colored eyelashes go with mascara.
I don't know why, but that has stuck with me all these years. If I don't feel like doing mascara and lipstick in the a.m., I'll just do lipstick.
Recently I started putting my eye cream around the outer edge of my lips. Trying to keep those lines at bay.
