Hair

A pet peeve of mine is getting an uneven haircut. Too short will grow out, but uneven will grow out uneven. I paid $60 for a cut Jan 2008 because I won that ESPN contest and was heading to Daytona Florida in Feb. Cut was ok, nothing to brag about. The owner of the shop where I get my hair colored did it. About six months later I go to Super Cuts for a trim, right. The lady says "do you know your hair is uneven?" shit.

I have a basic hairstyle, people. When in the chair I sit up straight, no crossing of the legs. I heard crossing the legs while getting a haircut could cause you to get an uneven cut.

So lately I have just been letting my hair grow out because I don't have anyone that does a good job for a reasonable price, but one day I will need a trim. My hair colorist trims the bangs for free whenever I am in getting my roots done. So at least that is taken care of.

The Great Clips I liked by where I lived, closed. The other one I had a bad experience there, too. I swear that girl didn't even know how to cut hair. I went back the next day or so to have someone else at that GC fix it. The manager was like "yeah I saw her cutting your hair." I wanted to scream.

Then there are days I just want to get a pixie 'do so I can grow my gray out. My gray started with the first strand I found when I was 17. Kinda cool then, but what 46 yo woman wants to look older by sportin' all gray? One day I will stop coloring and let the gray shine!
