Nw @ TMS, Well Maybe

Well I got to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth today around 10amish for the Nationwide (Nw) race. Met Patti and Steve, of East Texas, there. Got some birthday and decal shopping in! It was raining some, and at 1pm NASCAR announced they would try to start the 2:30pm race at 5pm. So at 1:30pm we decided to pack it up. Patti and Steve have what, a 2 hour drive?

Around 5pmish NASCAR announced they will run the Nw race AFTER the Cup race tomorrow. We lucked out, TMS is always free parking, we bring our own drinks/food and the tix were free because of Patti being THE Local Winner for the KSCS Fantasy Racing deal, so we weren't out much. After I got back to Dallas, I still had time to get the oil changed and tires rotated on my car, sa-weet.

I wore a Carl Edwards' tee to work yesterday. I wore the tee he autographed today. I will wear another one tomorrow to a 3yo's family bday party!

Denise saw the 83 car live going south on the Dallas Tollway last week. She called me that day, and left me a vmail about it. This morning I got a call from her while on my way to TMS, to tell me there was a segment about it on the local NBC station. See Ricky, she isn't crazy, LOL! Sorry Patti and Steve, I said it was Scott Speed, but it's Brian Vickers. Denise watched Scott Speed was on "Trackside at..." Friday night, and said she liked him. Ricky says Scott Speed is going to win a Cup Championship.
