Diaper Cake No. 2

When I worked in the testing department I worked across the aisle from a woman named Amy T. We had alot of fun working across from each other; we laughed alot. Anyway today was her baby shower. She's due with her first wee one May 27. She and her husband, Fini, have chosen not to know the sex of the baby beforehand. I told her I felt it is a girl. I even suggested they name her Tammy. Amy also has a sister named Tammy.

This is only the second diaper cake I have created. The first one was last July for Tara and Jason. I searched the net looking for instructions. One thing I can say is they don't tell you what size diapers to use. With Tara's I didn't know what size to use so I chose Size 1, and it came out smaller, now I call it a diaper cupcake, LOL, but it wasn't that small. Obviously the size 2 I used this time makes a diaper cake that is just the right size to work with.

Out of Amy's diaper cake she got 64 size 2 disposable diapers, 3 receiving blankets, 2 wash cloths, a set of mittens, some Aveeno baby lotion, 4 diaper pins, and the Pooh bear.
