Happy Mother's Day to Mom, mother of Talana and myself!
Mom and I celebrated by going to Chamberlain's Steak and Chop House in Addison for Mother's Day Brunch. For my 3 courses I had a Roasted Beet Salad with walnuts and fresh bleu cheese, Petite Filet Mignon with Bleu Cheese Crust, Sweet Corn Grits, and Green Beans and Asparagus in Garlic Sauce topped off with Chocolate Mousse Cake. Mom had Baby Romaine Caesar Salad with Crispy Portebello Fries, Petite Filet Mignon with Bleu Cheese Crust, Sweet Corn Grits, and Green Beans and Asparagus in Garlic Sauce topped off with New York Style Cheesecake. This was our first adventure there, and it was delicious. We even dolled up and wore dresses! Mom's wish list was for a Bonsai Ficus Toolittle tree. The guy at Sunshine Miniature Trees said this was 10-12 years old; it's so cute!
