Last November during a power outage in several of the apartment buildings where I live, my neighbor and I stood out in the breezeway shootin' the breeze. She was telling me our apt has a bingo night once a month. I cruise the little monthly magazine they publish, but I never check the calendar. Lo and behold there is bingo night one Thursday a month. I couldn't make December, but I did make it to my first bingo event last night with a friend of mine that lives across the street.
I WON one of the nine games played! It was a triple bingo, and my prize was a $25 Dillard's gift card. I dedicate this win to Granny, my paternal grandmother, who was very fond of bingo.
Maybe I'm on another roll for NASCAR this year...
