At the beginning of a class at work the instructor had us go around the room and tell everyone something they didn't know about us. Of the 8 of us I didn't know anyone else in there.
Once the first lady said something about kids, almost all the rest did, ex: "I have twins", "I have 3 kids", "I have 2 grandchildren", etc. You get the gist. Tandem skydive was my response. Another lady said something like "I repair jets". Come to find out later she's in the Army Reserves.
Guess my brain was working on this in the background. Later it came to me that only 2 out of 8 (or 1 out of 4 said) something that did not involve kids. Kinda felt sad to me for those other 6 (or 3). I'm just sayin'...
They probably felt sad for me cuz I don't got no chiddrens (one Southern pronunciation/spelling).
