I did it, I really did it. I finally made that darn Stars and Stripes Flag cake since Tara, Jason, Rory, Dad and Diane were coming over!

For those counting this is a retro cake, only 35 stars and the maize-colored Tupperware cake container to boot!
It's a chocolate fudge cake with white whipped icing.
I bought the cake mix that requires water, oil and eggs. I substituted milk for the water and did not add egg/oil with the mix. Cake tasted good, but not as tall/deep as a cake made the regular way. Next time I'll do water and no egg/oil.
