they let us go home early from work today, about 2:30pm. I stopped and bought ground turkey for chili. I also rented a movie, Death at a Funeral, from one of those dvd movie machines www.dvdplay.com, http://www.redbox.com/, etc. I am watching enough NASCAR now to where it didn't pay for me to rent through Netflix anymore. So I am set for a cozy evening. It was raining/snowing heavily, but I didn't see any sleet yet on my way home.
my neighbor downstairs cooks some good smellin' food alot. so now it's me cooking the good smelling food (chili). I am trying out DL Jardin's Texas Chili Bag o' Fixins kit I won in a chili basket at a silent auction for Sophia's school in Texas around Christmas last year. I am one of those people that likes beans in chili. Legumes are good for you! http://soul4ce.home.texas.net/legumes.htm
My granny told me don't put your flowers/plants outside until after Easter whether that's March 1 or April 30. There could always be another chance of bad weather before then. That probably came from when she was growing up on a farm and/or the Farmer's Almanac.
