Well Talana, Ron, and Sophia were in town for a 4 night visit. Sophia is on Spring Break this week.
Sophia bounced between grandparents while Talana and Ron stayed with me. I gave Sophia an African-American Pisces Barbie doll that was extremely striking. Her coloring is very dark and her dress is a light turquoise. Sophia had wanted one since she is a Pisces.
Saturday Ron and Talana picked and delivered up the futon I had my eye on. They even put it together for me. Of course they were motivated as that's what they were going to sleep on. It looks nice too...Black metal frame and tan 10 inch microfiber suede full-size mattress. The cover is removable for cleaning.
It was nice to have people around when I got home in the evening and some in the a.m. I have lived by myself for so long (12 years), well Jack has been with me the last 3 years. He's the betta fish that Sophia had. I pet-sit once when they took a trip three years ago this month. Two birds and a fish, neither were invited back. I had my own betta fish, Romeo, at that time too, but he's already kicked the bucket since then. I had to flush him down the toilet just like in Nemo. I found the birds a good home at the assisted living center across the street from the condo I had at the time.
Ron took home with them two small pieces of storage furniture I no longer wanted. Sure feels good to get those out of my apt!
