I always liked this photo of me. Granny would tell me that when I was a baby I looked like I had malt balls for eyes and soot for hair!
Another year bites the dust, and I look forward to seeing what cool stuff happens during my 46th year here on Earth....
So today, Sophia and I went to the Kimbell Art Museum https://www.kimbellart.org/Exhibitions/Exhibition-Details.aspx?eid=54 in Fort Worth for The Impressionists exhibit. Wonderful...go if you can while it's here.
We had lunch at Joe T Garcia's in Fort Worth http://www.joets.com/. Here it is late July and we sat outside in the shade because there was a breeze, and we didn't even break a sweat. They have a beautiful patio area.
Then it was off to Sprinkles for some high-end cupcakes! Heard about this place on tv show called Food Finds on Foodnetwork channel before there was even one in Dallas area. This was our first time to go. http://www.sprinklescupcakes.com/. I got a dark choc with marshmellow cream which is a new one they started making Jul 16. Sophia got a dark choc. We liked them sooo much we bought two to enjoy on Thursday --- Peanut Butter Choc for Sophia and Pumpkin for me.
Oh and on restaurants' and ice cream stores' websites, fill in your birthdate, BUT don't put your real birth year as it is now used in some places as a form of identification. I usually pick 1900 or 1908 something ca-razy like that.
Let's see I have coupons for free Sunday brunch from Blue Mesa, a free ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery, a free small Original sandwich at Schlotzky's, a free little dessert called a Shooter at Applebee's which comes in a couple of different flavors, a discount coupon for Sweet Tomatoes, a free ice cream at Baskin Robbins, $5 off at Rockfish, 25% off one reg item at Borders, and free cupcake bubblebath at Sephora!! I will need a free gym membership after this...
