North Texas Food Bank - "Food 4 Kids" program (Bump)

I heard about this program through one of the electronic newsletters or emails North Texas Food Bank sends me. I emailed Jennifer Bussell, the coordinator, to acquire more information. Seems like she said 97% of the money sent in for this program goes directly to it! When I send a check to the North Texas Food Bank I put "Food 4 Kids" in the FOR area.

"The Food 4 Kids program provides kid-friendly, self-serve food for the weekend to those elementary school children most at risk of going hungry over the weekend. Currently serving over 200 schools in 17 school districts, the program provides food every weekend during the school year to approximately 4,400 children in the greater Dallas area."
