Hazy Headlamps

I have never had a car where the headlamps got hazy ove the years. A couple of years ago I called the dealership inquiring about getting those replaced. The cost was about $250 each for the part and about $50 each for labor for a total of about $600. Needless to say I still have those headlamps.

My car is 9 1/2 yo. I got it detailed in October, and it looks so good, but those hazy headlamps were bugging me. So I called the dealership again. This time they mentioned a kit you can buy anywhere like NAPA Auto Parts, AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc that is made specifically to remove the haze. Well I bought a kit for $10 and some change right before Ron came in town for the NASCAR races. He spent about 5 minutes cleaning each headlamp. They look like new!

I can do it myself next time, just need to buy a small cordless drill, and not a pink one.
