Recently for my 1999 car I got it detailed, new license plates since my originals were over 7 years old, and the hazy headlamps are no longer hazy. So the only thing left that needed to be done was new windshield wipers. Using them had gotten so bad that it was hard to see especially at night and worse since this darn time change.
So I went to my local Auto Zone last week. Got some nice new wipers. The guy picked RainX brand. There was a little reminder tag in the package that says to check them every 6 months and change them out ever year. Wow, my old ones were sooo old I don't even remember how long I had them. So I put a reminder in my 2009 datebook to change them next October before the time change.
